Connecting Scientists

ASCB's Cell Bio Connect program offers intellectual, professional, and social support to ASCB Members who are first-time attendees, students, or traveling alone. Participants will be matched with experienced attendees who have volunteered to help them navigate and get the most out of the meeting.

The attendee connections are made using Neuromatch’s algorithm that reads through your personal research interests and matches you with people that share your interests.

If you sign up for the program you will be invited to participate in an optional virtual meet-up on Thursday November 7thth at 1:00 PM ET. Don’t worry if you can’t make the event, you will be connected with your matches via email. 

Participants are expected to:

• Connect before the meeting to introduce themselves and discuss specific objectives

• Connect at the meeting! (visit sessions, exhibits, and posters together; introduce other colleagues, etc.)

• Keep in touch after the meeting! Building your professional network.
